Following the announcement of their forthcoming EP Water For Dogs, Wellington four-piece rock outfit Wet Denim are taking the new music to the stage with a three-date release tour across Aotearoa this September and October.
The band will play A Rolling Stone in Christchurch on Friday 25 September, San Fran in Wellington on Saturday 26 September and Whammy Bar in Auckland on Saturday 3 October.
Water For Dogs, due for release on Thursday 17 September, is shaping up to be Wet Denim’s most ambitious and expansive body of work yet. Singles ‘Living Room’, ‘Silence’ and ‘Mirrors’ have each offered a glimpse into the band’s refreshed rock direction, pushing their sound and their songwriting, all while retaining the energy that defines their live shows.
"We are beyond excited for this tour and to revisit some of our favourite venues around Aotearoa. We are incredibly proud of the new record and are ready to bring you our most high energy run of shows to date" - Wet Denim
Having already revealed some of Water For Dogs to a sold-out crowd at Wellington’s Moon in May and taken the new material to RNZ Afternoons NZ Live, the band are now set to bring the full record to life.
Made up of Nick Goodwin, Luca Crampton and brothers Jack and Joe Ledword, Wet Denim have fast become known as a must-see live act within Aotearoa’s music scene. Their last EP On The Line (2024) took them across Aotearoa and Australia and nabbed them support slots with international artists Highly Suspect, The Vanns, The Grogans, Bootleg Rascal, Teenage Dads, The Rions, The Rubens and local legends Blindspott.
Water For Dogs shows the band at their most assured. Don’t miss your chance to see it live in full for the first time this Spring.
