Hailing from the rugged Āwhitu Peninsula south of Auckland, The Boondocks are a two-piece riff-rock powerhouse built on raw energy and relentless momentum. Bassist/vocalist Scott Parker and drummer Branden Pritchard have been turning heads since forming in late 2022, quickly establishing themselves as one of New Zealand's most exciting rock acts.
The duo has earned a spot among the most played Kiwi bands on The Rock FM - New Zealand's premier rock radio station - a testament to their broad appeal and undeniable staying power. On stage, they hit just as hard. Since their inception, The Boondocks have been a fixture of the live circuit, sharing stages with the likes of Shihad, Devilskin, Tadpole and Villainy, completing three successful nationwide tours since May 2025 and cementing their reputation as a must-see live act.
