THE BOONDOCKS
The Boondocks are two-piece, high- energy, riff rock band from the Āwhitu Peninsula, south of Auckland. Formed in late 2022 by bassist / singer Scott Parker and Drummer Branden Pritchard, the duo has quickly become one of the most promising rock bands in the New Zealand music scene.
The band is currently the most played Kiwi band on The Rock FM, New Zealand’s biggest rock music station. The two-piece has been prominent in the live music since their inception, and have now gone on to do headlining tours regularly, having now completed three successful New Zealand tours since May 2025. Now working on their second album with producer Scott Seabright, as well on an EP with Zig House Productions (producer of ‘BUMMER’ by Cleopatrick).
