Fat Freddy’s Drop are bringing their Based On A True Story 21st Anniversary Tour back to Aotearoa this Summer, for two special shows; playing back to back nights at Neudorf Vineyards this January.

Opening both shows is MĀ, the Te-Whanganui-a-Tara based artist whose hats include singer, rapper, bandleader, spoken word poet, beatmaker and producer. Blending neo-soul, conscious rap, jazz and Te Reo Māori, MĀ is one of Aotearoa’s most distinctive, relevant and exciting new voices.

2026 has been a year of reinvention and reconnection for Fat Freddy’s Drop. Their 51-date Based On A True Story 21st Anniversary Tour, saw the band play sell-out shows across the world cementing their place as a global musical force with an audience that spans far and wide. With more than 20 dates remaining throughout the UK and Europe, the band are in top form and are excited to extend the tour for two extra Aotearoa shows this Summer.
